Die Barocktage-Galerie

Especially in a turbulent time of upheaval, we are moved not only by challenging worldly issues but also by questions of meaning and the greater good. Mary as a mediator between God and man is therefore the new theme of the Baroque Days Gallery. ‘From a distance’ - photographed by Thomas Obermayer - deals with places and artefacts, pictorial representations of Mary and the Mother of God as a sculpture. The exhibition combines an approach to aspects of religion, popular piety and art history, with the camera moving between documentation and interpretation.
